Writing an article - and versions

Article Version A |
Article Version B |

This is an example of how to write an article. It may seem complicated but it's not. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be able to write an article in next to no time. In fact, it is really easy. Paragraph 3 Paragraph 4 Save in Notepad as example-a.txt |
Writing an article may at first seem complicated. I can assure you that it is not. It is really easy to write an article, once you grasp the concept. Trust me, you'll be able to write an article in no time! Paragraph 3 Paragraph 4 Save in Notepad as example-b.txt |
You could, if you wanted, create an Article Version C. But that's entirely up to you.
Now, when ADSubmitter submits to an article directory, it builds up the article by randomly choosing the first paragraph from either version. It then chooses from either version of paragraph two...and so on.
Try it yourself. Read the first paragraph from Article Version B followed by the second paragraph of Article Version A. Here it is below.

Does the above make sense? Of course it does!! Now suppose ADSubmitter had chosen as its opening paragraph the first paragraph from Article Version A, with the second paragraph from Article Version B. It would look like below.

Does the above version make sense? Yes, it does. Understand the concept now? Throw in Article Version C into the mix and each article submitted will become even more unique!
NOTE: very important - each version of the article MUST have the same number of paragraphs.
NOTE: very important - keep the 'sense' of each paragraph in each version the same. In other words, if paragraph 1 in version A is about clocks, then paragraph 1 in version B must also be about clocks, and not about something completely different, like jet fighter aircraft, for example.
NOTE: paragraphs DON'T have to have the same number of sentences in them, or the same number of words. Each paragraph MUST be separated by a double space. And all excess space at the end of each article MUST be deleted before saving.
NOTE: when you save each version of the article, save the version letter along with it - to make it easier to pick out when loading into the File Paths Manager.
For example, taking clocks as the subject of the article, Article Version A would be saved as clocks-a.txt, Article Version B as clocks-b.txt, Article Version C as clocks-c.txt etc....
Makes life so much easier! Save the
categories file as clocks-categories.txt, the titles file as clocks-titles.txt,
the keywords file as clocks-keywords.txt, the resource file as
clocks-resource.txt, the teaser as clocks-teaser.txt etc.
Perhaps you then might want to place all in a sub-directory called clocks - makes sense!
