Read firstSubmitting articles is, in essence, a two-stage process, the first stage being the creation of the necessary text files required, and the second, the process of submitting to the article directories themselves. The text files required are: Path to Details (personal details text file, required to sign up with directories, or to log on to each site, add a pen name, submit articles). It must follow a set format! Each piece of information required is on its own line and separated by a double space. Article sites list (the list of article directory urls with which to sign up/submit articles to. It is automatically created via the Article Sites Manager when the urls are saved. It has the file extension .urls, NOT .txt). Path to Categories (the list of categories, chosen via the File Paths Manager 'Choose Categories' section. Each category is on a separate line, with a double space between each line of information). Path to Titles (list of titles, each on its own line and separated by a double space between each). Abstract/Teaser (list of small paragraphs, each separated by a double space, used when submitting an article. The Abstract/Teaser is usually used on the article directory's home page to entice readers to click on the full article page.). Keywords (comma-separated list of keywords, usually three or four per line, with a double space between each keyword grouping). Article Version A (the main article, with paragraphs separated by a double space - just as on this page. Paragraphs can be large or small, with as many sentences and words as you want.). Article Version B-E (optional. Each must have the same number of paragraphs (though not the same number of sentences and words in each paragraph) as the main article, Article Version A. If Article Version A has 10 paragraphs then so must Article Version B etc.) Article Resource (the resource box added at the bottom of each article which contain the links back to your site. Separate each resource box paragraph with a double space.). When you create an article, keep all of the above files in it's own sub-directory. Good organisation!! The second part of the process - signing up, adding a pen name or submitting an article, takes place after the appropriate files have been loaded up via the Files Path Manager. Signing up to the article directories only requires the Path to Details file (the personal details text file) and the Articles sites list (the list of article directory urls). Adding a pen name also only requires the Path to Details file and the Article sites list file. Submitting an article requires ALL files listed above to be loaded via the File Paths Manager. |
